Supports We Provide
¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ’s SSC’s provide a spectrum of integrated support that spans the areas of youth development, family services, academic enrichment, health and mental health. Targeted primarily to low-achieving students, SSC services address critical student needs that pose barriers to learning. Services include:
Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC)
Students who have been victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE) face additional challenges in the school setting. Our work is informed by survivor and youth voice with the goal of providing prevention and intervention services so that no student falls through the cracks. Using trauma informed practices, all at-risk or identified CSEC students within ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ have access to the following services:
May is Mental Health Month, 2023
Each spring, ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ joins schools, families, and communities across the U.S. in celebrating #MayIsMentalHealthMonth. During the month of May we intensify our ongoing efforts to raise awareness around mental wellness, and stop stigma around mental illness. We encourage all ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ staff, students, families, and community members to join us in honoring May is Mental Health Month!
