Helping to clean the air we breathe
With the help from local and state clean air grants, the District has converted six buses to run on Bio-fuel.

The mission of this program is to enhance life opportunities and choices of adults with developmental disabilities by nurturing within the individual an increasing and broadening sense of independence and personal fulfillment; empowering the individual to reach her or his maximum potential; developing human potential through integrated life opportunities; and providing high quality services that enable full community inclusion. The major focus of this program is to offer life skills training which emphasizes achievement of greater independence and a less restrictive lifestyle.
Adult Education
Adult Education opens doors and delivers success! It provides lifelong educational opportunities and services preparing adult students with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate effectively as citizens, workers, parents, and family members. Adult Education has been part of the Sacramento City Unified School District’s public education program since 1872. Classes are held in a variety of school and community locations throughout Sacramento.
