At the January 18 meeting of the Sacramento City Unified School District Board, the Board recognized Stellar Student Anna Bassi, a 7th grader at Alice Birney TK-8 Public Waldorf School. Anna is an exceptionally well-rounded student. She was recognized for her impressive visual and performing arts talents and contributions, her outstanding academic success, and the kindness and friendliness she demonstrates at school.

TK-8 Open Enrollment Starts February 5

The 精品SM在线影片 Open Enrollment application for incoming Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade opens Monday, February 5 at 8:00 a.m. and will run through Friday, February 23, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. This is an opportunity for your student to apply for enrollment to a different school than their neighborhood school for the 2024-2025 school year, based on space availability.

Black Parent Involvement Day is an opportunity to visit your student鈥檚 school, meet their teachers and send a strong message to your student that you want them to succeed academically. Black Parallel School Board is hosting a virtual parent training for this event on Thursday, February 15 at 6pm.

ParentSquare recently purchased the popular app Remind, and will be incorporating favorite features from Remind into the ParentSquare interface over the coming months.

The 2023-24 SPSA Mid-Year Review form is in DTS. Please remember to complete your Mid-year Review by February 16, 2024. Using local data, analyze whether your planned high-leverage strategies/activities have been effective in achieving your goals thus far. This Mid-year Review and analysis should assist in making updates to your 2024-25 SPSA.
