Learn More About the California State Seal of Civic Engagement

The ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ Student Ambassadors and Dr. Hueling Lee, along with Superintendent Lisa Allen, will have its State Seal of Civic Engagement Virtual Kick-off TOMORROW (Thursday, February 22nd), at 5PM over Zoom. We highly encourage your attendance to learn more about getting the Seal on your transcript/diploma, district certificate, and a medal for graduation. Come ask your questions, even, and especially, if you are unsure about the State Seal!

Use your extra day this year to jumpstart a new career with Sac City Unified! We’re hosting a Leap Day Hiring Event at Serna Center on Thursday, February 29. 

Classified Positions: 10am to 1pm

(Examples: Instructional aide, bus driver, office staff, nutrition services, district administrators, custodians)

Certificated Positions: 2pm to 6pm

(Examples: Teachers, site administrators, district administrators, school nurses, social workers)

April 4, 2024

At the April 4 meeting of the Sacramento City Unified School District Board took action to approve a resolution in recognition of Adult Education Week, April 7-13, to highlight the importance of continuous learning beyond formal schooling and the value of education at all stages of life, promoting a culture of lifelong learning. The Board received an update on the District’s adult education programs.

Nigeria Solar Notebook Project

Students and staff at Miwok Middle School, Leonardo da Vinci K-8, and Washington Elementary worked together this year to support students in Ewatto, Nigeria, with assistance from SMUD, Solar Schoolhouse and WaZoBia Arts.
