Sacramento City Unified School District Trials Safety Technology on School Buses

Sacramento, CA –  In an effort to assess pupil transportation safety and to tackle the problem of motorists illegally passing stopped school buses, Sacramento City Unified School District has partnered with to launch a pilot program. The district has equipped five of its buses with AI-powered stop-arm cameras to help deter drivers from illegally passing stopped school buses.

Sacramento, CA –  Sacramento City Unified School District (¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ) will be holding a COVID-19 Vaccine Safety & ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ Reporting Process Town Hall Webinar Event on Tuesday, November 16 at 6:00pm. The webinar will allow community members and school district families to get answers to their questions about the COVID-19 vaccine for newly eligible ages 5-11, and the District’s new COVID-19 vaccination status reporting requirement for students and staff.

¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ Vaccination Clinics to Receive Pfizer-BioNTech Pediatric Vaccine Doses for Ages 5-plus Starting Wednesday, November 10

Sacramento, CA –  Sacramento City Unified School District (¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ) announced today that all upcoming ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ hosted COVID-19 vaccination clinics will now serve all community members ages 5 and up. Ages 5 to 11 are now eligible to receive Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric vaccine through the emergency use authorization from the United States Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
