Sacramento City Unified School District Announces Superintendent Transition
The Sacramento City Unified School Board today announced that Superintendent Jorge A. Aguilar will step down at the end of this month. The search for a new superintendent to lead the District will begin immediately.
Superintendent Aguilar鈥檚 last day of service in Sac City Unified (精品SM在线影片) is June 30, 2023. 精品SM在线影片 Deputy Superintendent Lisa Allen will serve as acting superintendent during the District鈥檚 leadership transition.
2023-2024 Budget Update
Dear Sac City Unified Families,
At our final meeting of the school year, the 精品SM在线影片 Board of Education unanimously approved a proposed $720.4 million budget for the upcoming 2023-2024 fiscal year. The District budget is still subject to revision for 45 days after the State gives final approval to its budget.
CAASPP Student Score Reports
Parents/Guardians,
Your child鈥檚 2022-23 CAASPP results are now available in the Parent Portal. You will see scores for English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics. If your child was in grades five, eight or twelve, you will also see CAST (California Science Test) scores. Community Swim at the New Luther Burbank H.S. Pool

Sacramento City Unified School District and Board President Chinua Rhodes (Trustee Area 5) are pleased to welcome you to a community swim at the newly opened Luther Burbank swimming pool on Saturday, August 19!
Pre-registration is required.
This new pool at Luther Burbank was made possible thanks to the voter approved Measure Q and will welcome physical education classes and student-athlete competition starting this Fall.

Joint Statement from 精品SM在线影片 and SCTA Regarding Compensation
The Sacramento City Unified School District and the Sacramento City Teachers Association have reached an agreement to close out the contract reopener negotiations for the recently completed 2022-2023 school year. This agreement comes one day before students begin the new fall semester and after negotiations resumed earlier this month with a commitment by both the District and SCTA to work in a collaborative manner.
