Tort Claim Form
If the occurrence happened on January 1, 1988, or after this
date, then a claim for bodily injury or death, damage to personal
property, or damage to growing crops must be filed not later than
six months after the occurrence out of which the claim arose. All
other claims must be filed not later than one year after the
occurrence. (Refer to California Government Code Section
911.2)

Sexual harassment violates federal and state law as well as the Sacramento City Unified School District鈥檚 Board Policies and Administrative Regulations 鈥 4119.11(a) and 5145.7(a). By definition, 鈥sexual harassment includes, but is not limited to, unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal, visual or physical conduct of a sexual nature made by someone from or in the work or educational setting.鈥
Williams Uniform Complaint Procedures
The district shall use uniform complaint procedures to address Williams鈥檚 complaints regarding insufficiency of instructional materials, emergency or urgent facilities conditions that pose a threat to the health and safety of pupils or staff, and/or teacher vacancy or misassignment issues as provided in Administrative Regulation 1312.4.

Resignation and Retirement
Resignations and retirements should be given with sufficient notice to the school site or department to allow for an effective transition. If you plan on retiring, be sure to contact either CalSTRS or CalPERS a few months ahead of your planned retirement date. Be sure to read the Separation of Employment Checklist.
