Overview

¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ’s Induction program will provide Participating Teachers individualized, job-embedded support in the first years of their teaching profession so as to increase the efficacy and retention of our new teachers. In doing so, Participating Teachers will also demonstrate progress towards mastery of the California Standards for the Teaching Profession so as to effectively serve our diverse student body, their families and our community.

Support Provider Information
2020-2021 School Year

The Induction Office is working to add to our current list of Support Providers for the 2020/2021 school year. Our goal is to have at least one participating Support Provider at each of our school sites. Support Providers serve a critical role in the trajectory of a new teacher’s success in education. We would like to open the opportunity for teachers to apply to participate as Support Providers for our new teachers hired in ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ.

The Sacramento City Unified School District would like to take this opportunity to remind our families of Sacramento’s local protocol in the event there is mass enforcement in our area:

There’s a 24/7 hotline run by Sacramento ACT that should be utilized in two types of situations (1) Individuals that are witnessing active ICE enforcement and (2) Individuals that were apprehended by ICE within the last 12 hours.
